The Bryan girls swim team placed fifth out of 15 teams at the Tomball Memorial Fall Kick-Off on Saturday.

Rachel Hutchinson took third in the 100-yard backstroke, and Selah Pilkington was fourth in the 200 freestyle and sixth in the 100 breaststroke. Elizabeth Tag finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke, and K’Lee Rudd was sixth in the 100 backstroke.

Hutchinson, Paiten Evans, Abigail Martin and Pilkington were fifth in the 400 freestyle relay.

The Bryan boys placed 10th, led by Hayden Moreno’s fourth-place finish in the 1-meter dive, with Ayden Ayers taking sixth in the event. Ayers also finished seventh in the 500 freestyle. Ethan Donner was sixth in the 100 freestyle. Asa and Ayden Ayers, Alfonso Bautista-Mendez and Oliver Smith were eighth in the 400 freestyle relay.
