Bryan ISD students participating in athletics are provided a supplemental accident policy free of charge if they sustain an injury during participation. It is important that students who are injured report to an athletic trainer to document their injury as soon as possible. This coverage is not primary insurance and does not guarantee full payment of medical expenses incurred. It is secondary to any insurance that the student has and does have limitations. Ultimately the student's family is responsible for any expenses.
In addition to the supplemental coverage provided by Bryan ISD, families have the opportunity to purchase additional coverage at a discounted premium.
