The Bryan freshman Blue and Bryan freshman Silver football teams each picked up wins over Cypress Lakes on Thursday.

Blue (4-2, 2-1) defeated Cy-Lakes 20-8 behind three total TDs from Ethan Jimenez. He rushed for scores of 4 and 21 yards and threw a 16-yard TD to Andrew Walker. Le’Bron Wells recovered a fumble on defense.


Silver (4-2, 1-1) shut out Cy-Lakes 18-0 with Erion Whittaker rushing for touchdowns of 34 and 78 yards. Antoni Cortez addeda 17-yard TD run, and defensive standout Daniel Longoria recovered a fumble.

The Bryan freshmen will play Cy-Park next week.
