The Bryan boys soccer team defeated Elgin 3-0 in its season opener Friday at Merrill Green Stadium.

Christopher Chavez, Rony Puerto and Javier Munoz scored for the Vikings.

Bryan JV Silver also rallied for a 1-1 draw.

Bryan will begin play in the Aggieland Classic on Thursday.
